eh. should i really have to make these? common sense should tell you what and what not to do, right? but even so, i'm still writing them. anyway.. i'm jotting these down as they come to me.
No powerplaying(controlling someone else's characters, determining whether or not you hurt them in battle). No god moding(invincible characters that never get hurt and always dodge attacks). No mary sues or gary stues(perfect characters with no flaws at all).
avatars may not exceed 100x300 pixels. signatures should NOT stretch the page.
No stealing anyone's character ideas, or taking their idea and "editing" it to make it"yours". That's just wrong. You should be capable of thinking up awesome characters yourself.
Um.. try not to make all your characters one sex or one species. If one species or gender is overpopulated we'll put a ban on it. Wouldn't it suck if a ban was put on wolves and females because one person had 18 characters that were all wolves and all female?
Oh, and you can have any amount of characters, so long as you keep them active. If things get too crazy, a limit will be set, though. So be wise and evaluate yourself to see how many characters you can handle, before making the whole wazoo.
No black-mailing or threating or offending someone! You'll be banned permanently from out site and shunned on any others we find you on. I do not take kindly to such rudeness.
Racism, sexism, or any other 'ism' is PROHIBITED. Again, you do any of these and you're gone.
This is a literate site, so AT LEAST 150+ words per in-character(ic) post. I understand if not ever post meets that, or if yours is just a few words under, you're okay. I understand if you've exhausted every technique there is to make word count a little longer, and that's fine.
As said above, we are LITERATE and above site. Correct conventions such as spelling, grammar, and punctuations are a must. A slip-up every now and then is fine, of course (I do it myself) but really, spelling shouldn't be a problem. I mean, seriously, you've got a nifty little spell-check button right there, to be used at your every whim. Think it's there for looks?
Hmm..
As for bios, they're just bios. While they should meet the requirements said in the bio form and have correct conventions and whatnot, they don't have to be a book. Don't make it super long, super-sob and super omfg-everyone-dies-all-at-once just to look like a good writer. Seriously! No one likes reading a book when they should be reading a bio. If you want to be seen as a good writer, right good posts and be all all-around nice person.. although I would be your friend anyway ='3
um as for unoriginal personalities super evil, super wonderful, super emo, super loyal etc.. don't do it :/ super evil characters can still be super evil, but add certain twists that make them your own. like.. he's nicer when he sleepwalks or something.. hehe o3o
cussing is allowed, ic and ooc, but don't be offensive to anyone, and no f-bombing every sentence. also, be kind and control your language if someone requests you to do so.
when it comes to breeding, be realistic. deer cannot have little tiger cubs o_- although they can be mates (lolwut) they can't have little deertiger babies. also, a pregnant female (no mater the species) must be pregnant for atleast two weeks to a month(your due date will be specified after you post in the mating board).
NO ROLEPLAYING THE MATING. you may play it out via PM but that's as far as you go. when the mating is either determined already have happened or has been played out THROUGH PMs, have the female of the pairing fill out the form found in the Mating board, and then post it there. a staff member will reply to the form with however many babies you will have, what they look like, their health, and the due date. you parents get to name them and give them personalities. you also decide who gets a baby out of the people who post in that Mating thread. yes, people can post their to apply for the babies x3 it's your choice whether or not they have to make an rp sample.
the babies can stay newborn for as long as you like, but they must be adolescent for atleast a week. longer if you want. specify to the people adopting your babies how long they will be babies, and then adolescents. after a week of being adolescent then they are considered adults.
(IC) RAEP IT BE ALLOWED so long you have the other person's permission first
there really aren't any formal fights here.. you wanna challenge leadership of a pack, you and that current leader arrange a date and place. we staff won't interfere really, unless there are rules broken or you request a judge.
