SHE'S SOOOOO NICE AN' SHE GAVE ME A COOKIE AND PINNED ME DOWN AND SAID THAT IF I DIDN'T JOIN SHE WAS GOING TO KILL ME SLOWLY AND CHEW M- I mean, the song 'Carnival of Rust' was on and I <3 it. BULLETEER
>>male!! >>five!! >>mink!! >>scavengers!! >>multiplex!! >>leader!!
DESC<<
Bullet is not an outstanding specimen for a stoat. He stands a little shorter than usual, and a little longer, but that's genetics, what can you say? Like all stoats, he has short, stubby legs and a generously long body and tail. Proportion wise, his head is huge, but only looks natural for a stoat. His eyes are large and pits of black where almost nothing but one's own reflection can be seen through their murky depths.
Bullets back is covered in a rusty red color, unlike most stoats that would have turned completely white by now in the ice age. Instead, he bares only a white underbelly, legs, and lower jaw. Although his whiskers are placed on his rusty mask, they too are white, and most of his side is engulfed in the camouflaging color as well. Unlucky for him, he's the target of most assaults since he's readily visible in the snow, too bad he wasn't colored the other way around. But it's not like he cares, Bullet would love to be the front of an attack instead of any of his pack members.
PERSONA
Bullet is much like his father when it comes to his outer layer. At first, the stoat looks like an evil dictator, he stands above his pack with such authority that even most ring leaders don't. He is quick to start a fight, quick to order a punishment, and quick to end any mutiny in his ranks. Bullet is what his name suggests, and he's worked to live up to it. Fast and deadly. He has no empathetic emotions unless you count blood lust an emotion one can be empathetic to. He is a heartless creature, on the outside, of course, that most people learn to respect and fear. Like Chihuahuas, he's a small creature with a big attitude and vicious tendencies. But you think he's all talk and no play? No. He won't hesitate to shred one's hand off and use it as a chew toy.
At the same time, Bullet is far more cunning than his father ever was. He likes to play off his brilliance as just luck whenever something works out that he suggests. He's a manipulator and has become very good at getting what he wants. He puts on incredibly believable acts and can convince anyone that he's sorry and can even break out in tears on the spot. Bullet knows that it's smarter to have a large, loyal pack than a giant one that doesn't believe in you, and he's learned from his father's behavior. He's loyal to his pack and, although he's a dictator of it, he believes it's best to treat them with respect and fairness or revolution is just around the corner.
And while he's not stupid, Bullet's head is a little… over inflated. Call it egotism, and say that it clouds his judgment sometimes, because it certainly does, but don't admit this to his face.
HISTORY
Born of his mother and father… seriously, what else would he be born of? A unisex fox and a genderless unicorn? Actually… that would make a pretty sexy creature… but that's beside the point. His father before him had been the leader of the multiplex pack and had turned it into a complete dictatorship. His father, aptly named crook, was a stalwart, tough skinned, almost evil-like stoat with strong morals and strength in his loyalty and dignity. Still, he pulled away from the idea of having a second in command. While most ring-leaders were busy choosing their 'betas' Crook was busy having life handed to him on a silver platter. Bulleteer was only one of his hundreds of kits. The stoat had a successful life with as many females as he wanted and could find and they often had large litters. Bulleteer's mother, Shank, had five litters with Crook before his own and many more after. She was productive too, often having litters of more than ten kits. Bulleteer learned early that just because his brother and sisters were family did not mean he could bond with them, there were simply too many.
But Bulleteer was by far the largest of the kits and was the most active as well. The stoats were born in winter and he was the only one that hadn't turned white, but he was not immediately chosen as his father's successor. Crook faced entire enlistments of animals and large amounts of revolting among his own pack, he did not even plan on having a successor. The old man had grown past his prime at nine years of age and six years of rule and was so bloated and big-headed he figured himself immortal. "Fat head."
The pack, without a proper leader, and without direction, was growing weak and dyeing off. Many had simply left, other's had frozen or starved. So, the young Bullet took on his would-be father and won. His father died at eleven long years of age, longer than most stoats lived, even in good conditions. The pack hated Crook because he did so well and the rest of them suffered dire consequences for his 'immortality.' Many left, despising Bullet too because he was the son of such a crooked dictator. They had good reason, however. The stoat planned to follow in his father's footsteps. He was far less interested in democracy and far more interested in self rule. He did believe, however, that his father was wrong in one decision… Bullet believed in having one soul beta. It was good to have someone to blame bad happenings on and if the pack ran him off or killed him, he was certainly disposable and could be replaced.
Bullet still rules with an iron fist over the Multiplex and he's known as a fair, but harsh leader. He was not a tyrant like his father and never starved his pack to feed himself, but he did manage to make certain… violent impressions that still stick after three years.
ETC.
He hears voices.
